I tried, but I couldn't do it!

I tried to put my newly grape kool-aid dyed Border Leicester up for sale, I really did! But then...every time I walked past it...I saw socks...and me spinning the yarn for them...

So I sat down with just a teeny piece of it to spin it - just to prove to myself that I wouldn't like it, you see...

Well...I did. Like it. A lot. So, I cancelled the listing and went to town! Here's a close up of the first bit or roving I spun:

I'll post photos of the finished yarn soon! I'm toying with the idea of plying it with some dark gray/brown-ish Wensleydale for a sort of chocolate covered cherries twist....
