I finished an "All Shawl", Y'all!

This is a shawl for the Elders at Pine Ridge Reservation. The pattern is Doris Chan's "All Shawl", which she very generously offers as a free download! Doris is also the designer of the Chrysanthemum Tea Shawl that I just finished. Here's the All Shawl on my deck railing:

And here is HRH The Duke of York testing it for comfort:

Here is a close up of the Strawberry Lace edging: (Note: I left off the very last row as I ran out of yarn!)

And here is HRH trying hard to convince me that I made a cat snuggly and NOT a shawl:

The details:
Yarn: Red Heart Acrylic in Dark Brown & Carrot
Hook: Size "L" U.S. (6 mm)
Pattern: "All Shawl" by Doris Chan
Sexy Cat: HRH The Duke of York

I am starting another All Shawl today, and then my first box of shawls, scarves, socks, slippers and hats will be ready to go to Pine Ridge. I know it seems early, but the people who distribute the items like to have an idea of what they have and what they will need for winter.

My next box will be socks and scarves for the Christmas At Sea program, which distributes hats, socks, scarves and slippers to merchant seamen who have to be at sea or on the rivers for the holidays.

Thanks BeeBee Girl! I finally pried it away from him and promised to make him one of his own.
